The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed about the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to click here your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support position established for intervention read more experiences a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
